Why I am Ready to Lead PTAC
Pathway to Adventure Council is a place I know well, its people, its communities, its strengths, and its challenges. My interest in serving as PTAC’s next Scout Executive comes from a deep belief in the council’s potential and a clear understanding of what it will take to move PTAC confidently into its next chapter.

financial structure and budget pressures
-
membership trends across Chicago and Northwest Indiana
-
the political and geographic complexity of PTAC’s service area
I worked directly with the council's professional staff, key volunteers, and board members, building relationships that continue today. This familiarity means I can make an immediate impact. I understand the council’s communities, its strengths, and the opportunities ahead, and I know the people who make Pathway to Adventure Council work.
I Bring Proven CEO Experience
In my current role as CEO of the Heart of New England Council, I have:
-
strengthened financial sustainability

These competencies reflect a breadth of skills and experience needed to effectively lead and advance the movement.
I Have Strong Chicago Civic Relationships
My work in Chicago extends beyond Scouting. I have collaborated with:
-

Relationships matter in Chicago's unique civic landscape. Building trust and strengthening partnerships expand Scouting’s reach.
